The Charvel Model 88 is a limited edition, made-in-Japan super strat. There were 1000 units made, of which 500 were made for the US market. The Charvel Model 88 had one slanted humbucker, the Jackson J-95. It also had a reverse headstock unlike many other Charvels from the Model series.
