Its dyad of tonewoods comprises a premium blend of mahogany and laurel, complemented by a pair of FT-5E Tilter’Tron humbuckers, a comprehensive suite of sound controls, and a Bigsby vibrato to ensure you’re never short on tone-crafting possibilities, much to the delight of guitarists. With its Thin “U”-shaped neck and striking visuals, the Gretsch Electromatic Pristine LTD Jet expertly blends heritage craftsmanship with modern possibilities.

Carefully selected tonewoods

Debate abounds as to how much of a difference tonewoods can make with electric guitars, but no matter your persuasion, it’s all but impossible to deny the importance of a solid tonal foundation, and Gretsch’s luthiers spared no effort in crafting as much for this distinctive Jet. Its solidbody design features a plethora of mahogany, used throughout the body as well as the neck.
