This guitar’s innovative 408 pickups offer warm, full humbucking tones and clear, glassy single-coil tones all in one package. Mini toggle switches provide for switching between four coils and eight tonal combinations, stemming back to Paul’s experimentation on the Sorcerer’s Apprentice guitars in the early 1980’s. The Pattern neck carve and stunning finish give the PRS 408 solidbody electric guitar a great look and feel.

To give the 408 a rich, yet balanced sound, PRS began by selecting a combination of mahogany capped with an exquisite maple 10-Top. This 408’s mahogany body gives you natural tonal warmth, which is offset perfectly by the brighter tone of its maple top. Together, these tonewoods give you an incredibly balanced sound.

This guitar is in fantastic playing, sounding, and aesthetic condition, bearing virtually no signs of wear and tear. this will of course include its original hardshell case as well/. Custom-wound 408 pickups and switching provide endless tone
