The team at EQD tells us that the Silos was born of founder Jamie Stillman’s admiration of his three favorite echo boxes — and his desire to have them all on his pedalboard without taking up too much space! Thus, the Silos features three spot-on delay algorithms to swap between.

• Digital: Clean and crisp is the name of the game here, with the Silos’ digital mode retaining crystal-clear fidelity on your repeats with a slight top-end roll off.
• Analog: Slightly more midrange-forward in the attack than the other modes, Analog mode features a dark degradation to repeats that’s ideal for crafting moody textures and soundscapes.
• Tape: Finally, the Silos’ Tape mode captures the warm, vibey voice of old-school tape delay. Switch to this setting for textured artifacts, a darker tonality, and just a touch of pleasing distortion.
