The Ibanez RGT1221PB’s DiMarzio Air Norton and Tone Zone humbuckers are voiced for metal, brimming with aggression and ready to howl. Toneshapers at delight in the dyna-MIX 10 switching system, which offers extensive control over the sound of this formidable axe. On top of that, the Ibanez RGT1221PB features a Mono-rail bridge, which feels exceptionally comfortable under your picking hand when palm muting. It’s a perfect complement to the RGT1221PB ‘s DiMarzio Air Norton at the neck, which is deep, warm, and remarkably clean, with just the right amount of brightness for chimey chord work. Beyond that, Ibanez’s dyna-MIX 10 switching system provides 10 different pickup combinations via a mini-toggle and 5-way blade switch. Whatever tone you’re hearing in your head, the RGT1221PB can achieve it.

The Ibanez Premium RGT1221PB sports a fixed Mono-rail bridge, which gives you the peace of mind that comes from rock-solid tuning stability. Changing tunings during a gig goes much faster, compared to messing with a vibrato bridge and dealing with locking nuts.
