- All shipments go out ASAP. Our first priority upon seeing a purchase is getting it out, so expect to see your tracking number the next business day if purchased after 4pm or even the day of if purchased in the morning. Shipments do not get picked up on weekends so if purchased over weekend expect to see it going out Monday

The Grand Auditorium Makes its American Dream Debut
Taylor’s beloved Grand Auditorium design makes its American Dream debut with the AD24ce! Sporting what many guitarists consider Taylor’s most versatile body shape, the AD24ce Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar wears a rich, smoky neo-tropical mahogany top and stunning sapele back and sides. Like all the best all-hardwood guitars of yore, this tonewood combination produces a more mellow and nuanced sound than a standard spruce-topped acoustic, making it a natural choice for singer-songwriters and for providing vocal accompaniment. The neck boasts a matching neo-tropical mahogany construction in Taylor’s fast-playing Standard carve, and it’s all topped off with a sleek 15-inch-radius slab of smoked eucalyptus for the fingerboard. You also get lock-tight Taylor tuning machines, a deep Venetian cutaway, and cutting-edge ES2 electronics to amplify the AD24ce’s elegant voice onstage.
Versatile Grand Auditorium body shape
Taylor’s flagship 6-string design since 1994, the Grand Auditorium body shape delivers a comfortable feel and remarkable sonic flexibility. Grand Auditorium guitars are an excellent choice for the musician who defies stylistic boundaries as the GA’s mid-sized body delivers ample bass and projection for energetic strumming while also remaining responsive and nuanced enough for players of the fingerstyle variety. Finally, the AD24ce’s Grand Auditorium body sports a deep Venetian cutaway to give you unimpeded access to the fingerboard’s entire range.
Taylor’s American-made legacy
In 1974, a young Bob Taylor cut his teeth building custom acoustics out of San Diego’s American Dream guitar factory. The American Dream series pays tribute to this time in Taylor’s history with its working-class, American-made pro instruments, built with the same values and American spirit that have driven the Taylor name for the past 45+ years.
Mahogany/sapele construction
The Taylor American Dream AD24ce features a solid mahogany top and back and sides of dark, figured solid sapele. Taylor’s Central and South America-sourced tropical mahogany is hailed for its dark color, deep bass, and thick, chewy midrange. It’s perfect for players who prefer a mellower top end (compared to spruce) and a more rustic-looking instrument. The sapele back and sides supply more than just a coordinating look, but a unique harmonic stack for a distinctive voice and robust projection. Paired with its easy-playing mahogany neck, the AD24ce is a recipe for rich tone and unmistakable Taylor playability.
Cutting-edge Taylor Expression System 2 electronics
Need to plug in? Then you’re going to love the Taylor Expression System 2 electronics built into the AD24ce! The ES2 system features a revolutionary segmented pickup located behind the bridge saddle; this pickup position delivers remarkably accurate and clear sound production that’s authentic to your playing. Each ES2 system features a handy master volume knob for fast level adjustments, in addition to a 2-band EQ for independent treble/bass adjustments to get the sound you need. Plus, the ES2 system also has a built-in phase switch, which offers essential feedback suppression whenever the system is active.
